This week (week 8 - Feb. 20-26) we attempted to see the Bore Tide. It is a large wave that travels through the Turnagain Arm when the tide comes in. It is supposed to be up to 6 feet high around the time of a new moon. Unfortunately, the ice on the water kept the wave from being big. In fact we didn't notice a wave at all! Some other people who were in the area said they saw it and it was very small. So we will have to try that one again. Since it was a cloudy and snowy day the pictures I took there weren't all that great. So, I practiced on my littlest subject! Love how he matches his room!
