Project 52 - Week 44

Week 44 ~ October 30-November 5

This week the boys started ice skating lessons.  The both enjoyed it a lot and did much better than I expected!

Halloween

For Halloween I took the zoo to the Air Force base and we trick-or-treated with some friends.  Lots of Fun!

Project 52 - Week 43

Week 43 ~ October 23-29

We carved our pumpkins this week.  All three boys loved it!  William designed and carved his all by himself!  Ben used a pattern, but did most of the work himself.

Birthday #7

William turned 7 on the 25th of October!  He is getting to be so grown up!  He is such a smart guy and I can't wait to see what he will do when he grows up!

Ben is checking out his gift.  (William's birthday is also Ben's half birthday)  He asked for these teensy pet shop figurines.  They are a "girl" toy, but he doesn't care.  He just loves the tiny little animals.

Project 52 - Week 42

Week 42 ~ October 16-22

Fall is here and Halloween is around the corner!  We roasted some pumpkin pie pumpkins today.  The boys enjoyed helping even though they don't like roasted pumpkin.  Unfortunately, the pumpkins this year turned out awful!  And I mean truly awful!  One tasted like perfume and the other was just dry and not very flavorful.  I was VERY disappointed!  I had been looking forward to eating roasted pumpkin for a few weeks.  I ate almost all of the roasted pumpkin we made last year straight out of the oven and almost didn't leave any to make recipes with!  Pumpkins are shipped up to Alaska, so we must have gotten some old one this year.

Earlier in the day the older boys watched a movie that was in 3D.  Eli watched about 3 minutes of it, but it was long enough for me to get this cute shot.

Project 52 - Week 41

Week 41 ~ October 9-15

Ben's preschool had a visit from the local firemen this week!

Everyone got to touch him with all his gear on, so they wouldn't think he was scary.
