Project 52 - Week 52

Week 52 ~ December 25-31

Christmas morning!!!  Watching your kids on Christmas morning is one of the best parts of being a parent!  I think being to one to plan everything, decorate, buy the presents, wrap everything up, and put it under the tree just might be better than being the kid!  We got lots of presents from family (and of course plenty from Mommy and Daddy), so it was a fun morning!

So Precious!

Opening presents from his stocking.

He loves these little pouches!

Another  present from the stocking

Dr. Dreadful Zombie Lab!  For the record, it makes the most disgusting drinks and concoctions.  They are supposed to taste good, but no.

Project 52 - Week 51

Week 51 ~ December 18-24

One of our favorite family traditions is making a gingerbread house every year.  We always get a kit (maybe one year I will attempt one from scratch).  This year I found a kit with several little houses.  Eli still isn't old enough for this tradition.  He would just want to eat all the candy decorations, so we did this while he was napping.

Ben's Preschool Christmas Performance

Ben's pre-school performed one Sunday morning in December for the church that runs the school.  These pictures are from Away in a Manger.  The kids learned motions and ALL the verses.  So cute!

My Little Star!

The first and second grade classes put on a short holiday program.  They sang several songs and had a child read letters to Santa in between each song.  William was chosen to be one of the readers.  He did a great job!  We are so proud of him!

Will is in the middle of this picture, in the second to last row.

Here he is reading.  He is at the microphone, which the music teacher is adjusting.
